Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on February 24, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred sixty-sixth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The Russian Federation continues a full-scale military aggression against Ukraine for a year now. Currently, the main efforts are focused on conducting offensive operations on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. Over the past day, our defenders repelled nearly 100 attacks by the enemy on these directions.

At the same time, Russian occupiers carried out ten missile strikes and thirty-one air raids. They conducted over forty shelling with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of these criminal actions, civilian objects in Kharkiv and Kherson regions were affected. There are casualties among civilians.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky directions no signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy have been detected. The occupiers shelled populated areas with mortars and artillery in Senkivka, Yelene, Medvedivka, Leonivka, and Mykhaylivna Sloboda in Chernihiv region; Supych, Korneyok, Hryhoriyky, Rizhyvka, Iskriskyshchyna, Volfinne, Oleksiyivka, Vodolagyi, Zapysyllya, and Miropillia in Sumy region, as well as over 22 districts of populated areas in Kharkiv region. In particular, Chervono Zorya, Veterynarne, Strelchyna, Lukyanets, Vovchaniv Hutori, Zemlyanka, Ustynivky, Bologivka and Krasnyy Pervyy. Also, the enemy carried out an air strike near Dvorychyne and Ogircevo.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near populated areas of Stelmakhivka, Dybrova, Bihorivka, Fedoriivka, and Rozdolyvka. Shelled over 20 districts of populated areas, including Grynykivky, Synykyvky, Kupyansk, Tabayivky in Kharkiv region; Novoselyvskyy, Stelmakhivka, Makieyivka, Yamopolia, Nevskyi, Dybrova and Bihorivka on Luhansk region as well as Grygoriyivka, Spirne, Berestevo, Rozdolyvka and Fedoriivka in Donetsk region. Carried out air strikes near Grynykivky, Kotlyaryvky, Kryhmalnoe in Kharkiv region and Serbiansky forest management and Bihorivka on Luhansk region. Also suffered Spirene and Sacco and Vanzetti in Donetsk region. On the direction occupiers used six incendiary bombs of "Lancet" type.

On the Bakhmut direction the enemy conducted several unsuccessful offensive operations around the areas of Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Zaliznyanske, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Dilievka and Vasylivka. Over 20 populated areas were shelled, including Zaliznyanske, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Kurdyumivka, Mayorshchyna, Pivnichne, Ivanopillya and Krasnogorivka in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk directions unsuccessful offensive actions of the enemy were noted near populated areas of Vodyane, Nevelske, Novomykhailivka and Prechystivka. Over 25 populated areas came under artillery fire, including Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka, Berdychi, Orlyvka, Perevo-Mayorsk, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar and Prechystivka.

On the Zaporizhzhya direction areas of over 25 populated areas were hit by fire. Among them — Veremivka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Zelenoye Pole, Olhyvskyy, Poltavka, Charyvne, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Kamianske, Lukyanivske, Stebnygrysk and Pavlivske — Zaporizhzhya region as well as Mariupol, Chernogryhorivka and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region.

On the Kherson direction the areas of Mykhailivka, Havylivka, Berislav, Veselye, Otradokamyanka, Mykolaivka, Kryntsi, Novotyagynka, Kherson and Zimovnik in Kherson region were affected by artillery fire from Russian occupying forces. Overall — areas of over 30 populated areas.

In order to replenish massive losses in manpower, the enemy continues concealed mobilization in the Russian Federation. In particular, in regions of the Caucasus, there is active forced mobilization of men of conscription age with the aim of sending them for participation in combat operations on Ukrainian territory. Mobilization applies to all men regardless of health status and willingness to fight. A large number of those mobilized are citizens who have served or are serving sentences in penitentiary institutions. Prisoners are released under the condition of voluntary participation in combat operations on Ukrainian territory.

In some areas temporarily occupied by Luhansk region, mobile operators disconnected access to the Internet with the aim of hindering the transmission of data about actions of Russian occupying forces and combating patriotic-minded population towards Ukraine. Disconnection of the internet network is expected in all temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 17 strikes on areas where occupiers are concentrated, as well as four strikes on positions of anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery hit three areas of concentration of enemy manpower, ammunition storage, propellant-materials storage and one other important target of the enemy.
