On February 4th in Lviv, several events took place as part of a joint event called «Euro-2022: A Year Later». The partner for the event was VBET – premium sponsor of Ukraine's national teams in futsal.

The program began with a friendly match between players of the national team and young members of the football club «Rukh» academy, as well as photo sessions and autograph signings with young fans. Next, the male national futsal team was greeted at an official ceremony where all present recalled the urgency of last year's European Championship, during which Ukraine's national team reached the semi-finals for the first time in 17 years. With welcoming words to the players spoke First Vice President of the UAF Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko, who visited Lviv, as well as Minister of Youth and Sports Vadym Gutzeit and legendary footballer Andriy Shevchenko, who addressed the futsalists via video format. The event ambassador was known Ukrainian footballer Oleg Luzhnyi, who also congratulated the team on the anniversary of their successful performance at a continental level.

Within the event, players and coaching staff were awarded a number of medals. Roman Khimyak, head of youth and sports management at Lviv Oblast Administration, officially presented certificates and medals for international master titles to the players on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. In addition, special gifts from Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal were received by the coaching and medical staff of the national team. Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko awarded players with honorary awards from the UAF, while the coaching staff was honored with medals for services to Ukrainian football.
