This was an extremely challenging yet fruitful year that united our football community into one volunteer team under the banner of the UAF humanitarian headquarters.

Throughout 2022, representatives of the football community in Dnipropetrovsk and Ukraine as a whole, known players, coaches, referees, the Association of Football of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast team, and the branch of NOC Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast:

— organized over 100 charity events and supported more than 20,000 internally displaced persons who found refuge in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast;

— delivered tens of thousands of humanitarian aid kits for IDPs to over 50 facilities (shelters, temporary accommodations, and medical institutions);

— held more than 30 charity football tournaments in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the war, they also supported four regional football associations in Ukraine: three of them in frontline areas (Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions) plus a regional association in Poltava Oblast.

This team did everything possible throughout the past year to be useful — they never forgot about football but always prioritized people's lives, helping IDPs, their families, and supporting and aiding the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
