"Wishing health to all Ukrainians!
Today, as it turned out, is a day of summarizing this year and planning for the next.
I held a meeting with international partners regarding events and plans for January.
Met with the French Minister of Defense who arrived in Ukraine. Discussed cooperation over the past year, reconstruction of our country, and another step towards strengthening our air defense. Thank you, France!
Met with officials and heads of parliamentary committees. Discussed decisions that are being prepared.
Today I addressed the Verkhovna Rada with an annual message about Ukraine's external and internal situation. About how we, all Ukrainians, changed this year's world and what we will do next year.
Of course, you may have already seen in the news the main highlights of all these events or will see them soon.
I would like to add something personal now to everything that has been done and said today. Something non-political.
No matter what happened and was on your mind, support each other. Definitely.
Please find time to say kind words to those around you. Even if they are not close to you — just other Ukrainians.
Please find the opportunity and moment to thank for work, praise efforts or care.
And if a person remains alone in such a difficult situation at this difficult time for some reason, please ask if help is needed. Or just help without asking.
If you know that someone is waiting for a son or daughter from the war, please pay attention: congratulate, listen, and help.
Hug relatives more often. Tell friends how much you value them more often. Support colleagues more often. Thank parents more often. Celebrate children more often.
Do not forget to call when relatives are waiting just to hear: how are you? Do not forget to send messages to friends and acquaintances at least sometimes — it's important not to lose contact now.
And please do not forget to thank when someone helps you. Please try to support those who fight for our country.
Our attention to others, when it may be lacking from relatives — for various reasons, — our words that can warm those around us when events are too cold, and our care for each other when circumstances test us, — all of this is also part of our mutual defense.
We have not lost our humanity despite the terrible months we've endured. And we will not lose it even though the year ahead is challenging too. We will reach victory, and we must do so together.
Take care of Ukraine, value each other, and do everything to help our soldiers!
Every day — towards victory.
Glory to all our people!
Glory to Ukraine!»
