To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 19, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred ninety-ninth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Stehlmakhivka, Makieyevka, Chervonopopivka and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnyokamyanske, Bahmutskye, Podgrodne, Bahmut, Klyshchyvka, Andriyivka, Krasnogorivka, Oleksandropol, Mariinka, Pobedy and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers carried out four missile strikes and seven air raids using Shahed-136 UAVs, as well as conducted 55 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers. Civilian infrastructure and peaceful residents were affected.

The current day began with the use of strike UAVs; detailed information will be provided after verification.

On the Volyn and Polesie fronts, there have been no significant changes, signs of enemy offensive formations being formed have not been detected.

On the Northern front, settlements of Hremincha in Chernihiv Oblast and Bilkopitove — Sumy were subjected to mortar shelling.

On the Slobozhansky front, the enemy shelled areas around the settlements of Chervona Zorya, Strilecha, Hlybokye, Starytsya, Volchansk, Voloikhivka, Chugunyvka, Figolyvka, Dvorichna and Novomlynsk in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansky front, areas around the settlements of Yagidne, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Krokhmalne and Berezovoye in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselyvskye and Stehlmakhivka on Luhansk territory were hit by artillery fire.

On the Lyman front, the enemy shelled Makieyevka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy carried out tank and rocket artillery strikes on areas around the settlements of Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Berezovoye, Bihorivka, Yakovlivka, Solvedar, Grygoriyevka, Bahmutskye, Bahmut, Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, Klyshchyvka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, Dilievka, Ozaryanivka, Pivnichne and Opitne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, shelling was recorded near Avdiivka, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson fronts, the enemy fired with rocket and field artillery on areas around the settlements of Temriyivka, Chervone, Novoandreyevka, Mali Shcherbaki and Plevni in Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Chervonogrigoriyivka and Nikopol — Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Sadove, Kherson, Komishany and Kizomys in Kherson Oblast. There are casualties among civilians.

Occupants continue searches of the population on temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya oblasts. Special attention is paid to mobile phones and smartphones.

The number of collaborators has increased in settlements of Melitopol district. In addition, Russian occupiers are considering the possibility of involving former police officers who switched sides to participate in combat operations.

Ukrainian aviation carried out nine strikes on areas with personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment during the past day, as well as three strikes on enemy positions of anti-aircraft missile complexes.

At the same time, our defenders shot down seven UAVs of type Shahed-136.

Units of rocket troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit a command post, an area with concentrated manpower, two ammunition depots of the enemy, as well as a radio location station for counter-battery combat "Zoo Park".
