The Ukrainian e-football team will start their qualification for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 on Thursday, December 15.

The blue-and-yellow team will participate in the first qualifying round (play-in), which will take place in a 2vs2 format on PS5 and run from December 2022 to March 2023.

Four cyber football players who became winners of the national selection represent the Ukrainian team at these competitions: Oleksandr CIG Grishay Gryshai and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov (main squad), Denis ECF_Phoenix Yevtushyk and Yaroslav ECF_BlackStar98x Gurmak (reserve squad).

According to the draw results, Ukraine's team has been placed in Conference 3 and starts its tournament path from Division 2. During the first game week, blue-and-yellow will face teams from Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, and Georgia.

Matches will be played in a round-robin format with BO1 rules. Three points will be awarded for a win in play-in games, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss.

If the Ukrainian team manages to finish this game week in the top 2, it will advance to Division 1. In Division 1, after the completion of the play-in round, two spots to the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 playoffs will be contested.
