President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about the restoration of power generation and electricity supply, as well as measures to strengthen our defense.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Another week of full-scale war is coming to an end – a week when we achieved much together. Thanks to our unity.

After the massive terrorist attack last Wednesday, day by day we restored power generation and electricity supply.

As of today, most regions of the country are operating on stabilization schedules only. The situation is under control by energy experts. And I thank thousands of people who worked around the clock across our state to restore light, water, warmth, and communication for us.

I would like to thank all employees of energy companies, municipal services, repair brigades, regional authorities, local community leaders who helped, as well as businesses that joined in.

Ukrainian unity once again demonstrates its strength and our effectiveness. I thank all Ukrainian entrepreneurs who are now turning their offices, branches, cafes, and other facilities into new "Unbreakable Points". Who do everything to help people.

We understand that terrorists are preparing for new attacks. We know this for sure. And as long as they have rockets, they will not be satisfied, unfortunately.

But our ability to help each other and care for those who find it hardest – the elderly, families with children, those who lost their homes and relatives in war – is one of the elements of protection against terror and our strength.

The week ahead may be as challenging as this one. Our defense forces are preparing. The whole country is getting ready. We are considering all scenarios, including with our partners.

And our unity must also be prepared. So please do not leave without helping those who need it. And please pay attention to air raid alerts during the week.

Together and by helping each other, we will overcome this war challenge – this winter, Russia's attempt to use cold against people.

The situation on the front remains very difficult. And most of all in Donetsk, as it has been for several weeks now.

I would like to thank today everyone who is steadfast – our soldiers and heroes!

To stand firm now and defend ourselves now – this is to stand firm and defend ourselves for generations ahead for all Ukrainians on our beautiful land.

We are doing and will do everything possible to strengthen our defense. We are doing and will do everything to hold Russia accountable for this war, for this terror.

And to achieve these results, important steps will be taken in the week ahead.

I thank all of our partners who are helping! I thank each leader who sees Ukraine's defense as a defense of freedom and security for their own country!

Together we will get through everything. I am sure of it!
