Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on November 23, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and seventy-third day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirene, Berehove, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, Pivnichne, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnyhorivka, Perevomysk, Neveliske, and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out five missile strikes on populated places in Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts, conducted nearly 45 shelling with multiple rocket launchers at our troops' positions and cities and villages.

On the Volynian and Polesian directions, there are no significant changes in the situation; signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy have not been detected.

On the Northern direction, in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts, the enemy continues to conduct demonstrative and provocative actions. Carried out shelling with rocket and field artillery in the areas of populated places of Semenivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Novovasylivka, Kustin, Druzhba, Volna Sloboda, and Shaligine in Sumy Oblast.

On the Slobozhanian direction, in the border areas of Belgorod Oblast, the enemy maintains troops' groupings for conducting demonstrative actions. Periodically carries out shelling of our troops' positions with mortars and field artillery. Shelled the areas of populated places of Strilecha, Glybokoye, Krasnyy, Izbitse, and Ogirevye in Kharkiv Oblast. Attempted to infiltrate a reconnaissance group into the area of the populated place of Staritsa. The DGR was destroyed by our units' fire. The enemy withdrew.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, occupiers are on defense, carry out shelling with tanks and artillery, including in the areas of populated places of Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Krokhmalne, Berehove, and Vishnevye in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselyvskoye, Stehlomakhivka, Makieyivka, Ploschanka, Yamopolivka, and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the enemy concentrates its main efforts on conducting offensive actions. Shelled with tanks and all types of artillery the areas of populated places of Spirene, Viyimka, Berehove, Soltar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Opitne, Andriivka, Zelenopillya, Kurdyumivka, Yakovlivka, Klyshchyivka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Perevomysk, Neveliske, and Mariinka.

On the Novoazovskiy and Zaporizhzhya directions, the enemy is on defense. Observed shelling of Defense Forces' positions and areas of populated places of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Shakhtrivske, Velika Novosilka, Veremivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast and Zelenyi Hai, Dorozhnyanka, Temirivka, Poltavka, Chervone, Orikhyv Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, the enemy is conducting positional defense, improving fortification equipment of positions, does not cease artillery shelling of our troops' positions and populated places on the right bank of the Dnipro River. Used field and rocket artillery for shelling of populated places of Mariivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Dudchani, Kachkarivka, Novotyagynka, Tokaryvka, Poniativka, Antonivka, and Dniprovskoye in Kherson Oblast as well as the city of Kherson.

Additional equipment by the enemy is observed for reinforcing defensive lines along the section of the road Kakhovka — Melitopol in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya oblasts.

In the city of Sevastopol, at one of the training facilities, preparation of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles is ongoing both for Russian and Iranian production. The term of preparation of the specified specialists amounts to up to three weeks. At present, about 30 servicemen are being prepared.

Occupation forces continue to suffer losses. Thus, in the populated place of Kalanchak in Kherson Oblast, there is a shortage of beds for accommodating wounded invaders at the local hospital. And during the previous day, about 40 wounded occupiers were transported to Veliky Kopan.

According to updated information, on November 21 of this year in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, destruction of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 and five units of military equipment of various types was confirmed in the area of populated place Pologi. In addition, 40 servicemen received injuries. Near Veseloye in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, an enemy checkpoint was destroyed; 15 servicemen sustained injuries of varying severity. In Melitopol, losses among the enemy amounted to up to 30 people wounded.

Ukrainian aviation over the past day delivered three strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and equipment of occupiers, while rocket troops and artillery hit an enemy command post.
