To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 07.11.2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and fifty-seventh day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy is concentrating efforts on restraining the actions of the Armed Forces of Defense of Ukraine on certain fronts and attempts to maintain temporarily occupied territories. It conducts offensive operations on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka axes.

Over the past day, units of the Armed Forces of Defense repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places Yampil, Andriyivka, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Pavlivka, Vodyane, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast and Bilohorivka in Luhansk.

During the past day, the enemy inflicted four missile strikes and 24 air raids, carried out over 55 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers.

Areas of 30 populated places in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Kherson Oblasts suffered enemy strikes.

On the Volyn and Polissya axes, the situation has not changed significantly.

On other fronts, the enemy carried out shelling:

on the Northern axis — with mortars, artillery of various calibers in the areas of the populated places Haidy Chernihiv Oblast and Stukalivka, Popivka, and Vorovba Sumy Oblast. In addition, the occupiers used attack drones;

on the Slobozhansky axis — with tanks and all types of artillery in the areas of the populated places Novoselyvsk, Myasozharkivka, Vovchansk, Stelmakhivka, Berestove, Ohyrcheve, and Strilecha;

on the Kupyansky and Lyman axes — with artillery of various types in the areas of the populated places Serednyanka, Nevske, Makieivka, Bilohorivka, Plyshanka, Spirene, and Verkhnyokamyanske;

on the Bakhmut axis — with tanks, mortars, artillery of various calibers in the areas of the populated places Andriyivka, Sverdlovsk, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutseve, Opitne, Mayoriv, Chasiv Yar, Klyshchyivka, and Zelenopillya;

on the Avdiivka axis — with tanks and artillery of various calibers in the areas of the populated places Avdiivka, Pervomaisk, Nevelsko, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Opitne;

on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia axes — with mortars, artillery of various calibers in the areas of the populated places Hulyaypole, Hulyaypoliske, Olhivske, Dorozhnyanka, Novopol, Shcherbaki, Novodanylivka, Vremyvka, and Pavlivka;

on the Southern Buzhsky axis — with tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of the populated places Blahodatne, Davidiv Brid, Dudchany, Miren, Nova Kamianka, and Pravdine. In addition, the enemy continued aerial reconnaissance, actively using attack drones. It made over 20 sorties.

Russian occupation forces continue to grossly violate laws and customs of war concerning civilian population. In the populated place Kakhovka Kherson Oblast, searches for sabotage groups and fire adjusters are ongoing. Those detained are taken to Horodnostayivka where they are tortured to extract confessions. Similar measures take place in the populated places Borivske and Shchedrysheve in Luhansk Oblast: mass searches, confiscation of mobile phones, abduction of people who are transported to an unknown destination.

In Kherson, occupiers disguised as civilians occupy premises of peaceful citizens and fortify positions inside for street fighting. At the same time, Russian propaganda journalists plan video footage shoots in the city on the theme of allegedly destroyed civilian population by the Armed Forces of Defense of Ukraine.

According to updated information, enemy casualties have been confirmed over previous days. Thus, in the populated place Gorlovka Donetsk Oblast, an attack was carried out against a cluster of enemy equipment. Five combat vehicles were destroyed, another four sustained damage. In the area of the populated place Mayoriv, daily losses of the enemy amount to up to 30 killed and more than 120 wounded. In the populated place Lysychansk, an attack was inflicted on a battalion subunit «akhmat». The losses of occupiers amounted to over 30 killed and up to 15 injured. The actual number of fatalities is carefully concealed by the enemy.

The aviation of the Armed Forces of Defense of Ukraine inflicted 22 strikes on the enemy during the past day. Twenty clusters of personnel, weapons, and military equipment as well as two positions of anti-aircraft defense systems were hit. Our subunits of air defense shot down five enemy drones.

Over the past day, Ukrainian rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on two command points, eight clusters of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, ammunition depots, a radio-electronic warfare station, and other important military targets of the enemy.
