To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on November 2, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and fiftieth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy is trying to maintain control over temporarily occupied territories, concentrating efforts on restraining the actions of Defense Forces at certain points. It conducts offensive operations on the Bakhmutskyi, Avdiivskyi, and Novopavlivskyi axes.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Makieyevka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Bakhmut, Mayor’sk, Pervomaisk, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Pavlivka, and Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast.

The enemy is conducting artillery strikes on Defense Forces units along the line of contact, carrying out fortification works at certain points, and conducting aerial reconnaissance. It continues to inflict blows on critical infrastructure and civilian housing, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out seven missile strikes and 47 air raids, conducted more than 90 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers.

Areas around over 25 populated areas were hit by enemy strikes. Among them — Kramatorsk, Mykolayiv, Poltava, Mikhilske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Pavlivka in Donetsk Oblast.

There is a threat of new attacks and the use of strike drones, including from the territory of Belarus.

On the Volynskyi and Poleskyi axes, the situation remains unchanged. The Republic of Belarus continues to support Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.

At other points, the enemy carried out artillery strikes:

on the Northern axis — with mortars and field artillery in the areas of Hayske and Senkivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Mevedyvka, Vovkyvka, Zaruzychne, Myropillya, Hryhoriyevka, Yankivka, Zapysylia, and Oleksandrivka on the Sumyshchyna;

on the Slobozhanskyi axis — with mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of Hlybokye, Kamianka, Vilkhativka, Neskhuchne, Vovchansk, Kozacha Lopan’, Mylove, Starytsia, Strilecha, Veterinarnoye, Udy, and Chugunyvka;

on the Kupyanskyi and Lyman axes — with mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Kucherivka, Kyslivka, Berezhove, Dvoretske, Hryhoriyevka, Zariche, Ivanivka, Kotlaryvka, Makieyevka, Nadiya, Nevske, Yamopolivka, and Terne;

on the Bakhmutskyi axis — with tanks and various types of artillery in the areas of Spirene, Bilohorivka, Rozdolyvka, Yakovlivka, Solvedar, Bakhmut’ske, Bakhmut, Ivanhrad, Opitne, Zelenopillya, and Mayor’sk;

on the Avdiyivskyi axis — with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of Avdiyivka, Mariinka, Vodyane, Paraskoviyivka, Kamianka, Krasnogorivka, Pervomaisk, Nevel’ske, Netaylove, and Novomykhailivka;

on the Novopavlivskyi axis — with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of Bogoyavlensk, Pavlivka, Velyka Novosyilka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Novomayorske, Vremyvka, Neskhuchne, and Paraskoviyivka;

on the Zaporizhzhia axis — with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of Hulyaypole, Hulyaypol’ske, Maliy Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Orikhyv, Pavlivka, Zaliznychna, Dorozhnyanka, Stepeve, Olhivske, Malynivka, Novodanylovka, and Chervone.

On the South Buzkyi axis, areas around over 18 populated areas along the line of contact were hit by artillery fire. The city of Nikopol and village Illinka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast suffered from strikes with multiple rocket launchers.

Forced so-called «evacuation» of civilian residents is ongoing from populated areas on temporarily occupied territories in Kherson Oblast. For example, people are being transported by buses from the village Velika Lepetykhivka. Private transportation is prohibited.

It was noted that Russian occupiers are moving archival documents from administrative buildings in Kherson.

According to updated information, enemy losses were confirmed in the area of ​​the village Muzikivka in Kherson Oblast on October 29. As a result of artillery fire, one Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system was destroyed, while up to ten other units of enemy military equipment sustained damage. In the vicinity of Snihurivka in Mykolayiv Oblast on October 30, twelve armored vehicles were destroyed.

According to available information, the enemy has set up an additional hospital near the village Zavityne Bazyanye in Donetsk Oblast, which is currently overcrowded with wounded military personnel of occupying forces.

Despite the official end of mobilization on Russian territory, conscription notices continue to arrive for men of draft age.

The aviation of Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out 33 strikes against the enemy over the past day. Twenty-six areas of weapons and military equipment concentration as well as seven positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were hit.

Over the past day, Ukrainian forces shot down one helicopter, two Orlan-10 drones, six Shahed-136 strike drones, and two — of type Kub.

Units of rocket troops and artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces over the past day inflicted damage on four areas of enemy forces concentration, weapons, and military equipment, three ammunition depots, and six other important military objects.
