Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and eighteenth day of heroic resistance against Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.
The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on attempts at full occupation of the Donetsk region and holding onto seized territories, as well as halting active actions by the Defense Forces on certain fronts. The adversary is shelling our positions along the line of contact, conducting aerial reconnaissance. It strikes civilian infrastructure and residential areas, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war. There remains a threat of air and missile strikes across all of Ukraine.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out three missile and eight air strikes, conducted over 82 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on military and civilian objects in Ukraine.
More than 28 populated areas were affected by enemy strikes. Among them are Severodonetsk, Bilohorivka, Yuryivka, Mariinka, Kryvyi Rih, Vishchy Tarasivka, Mykolaiv and Ternevo Podil.
On the Volynian and Polissian fronts, there were no significant changes in the situation.
On other fronts, the enemy carried out tank, mortar, artillery attacks:
on the Northern front — around populated areas of Senkivka and Blesnya in Chernihiv Oblast, as well as Seredyna Bud, Hryhorova Sloboda, Khliborob, Myropilske and Ryasne in Sumy Oblast;
on the Slobozhansky front — around populated areas of Strilecha, Sosnivka, Krasnoe, Gryshivka, Senkove, Dvorichna and Kolodyazhne;
on the Kramatorsky front — around populated areas of Novoselyvka, Starokaravan, Shchurove, Zakitne, Dybrova, Ozerne and Verkhnyokamyanske;
on the Bakhmutsky front — Sverdlovsk, Bakhmut, Bakhmutse, Odryadivka, Zaytseve, Vesela Dolyna, Toretsk, Opitne, Ivanivske, Yakovlivka, Bilohorivka and Veselye;
on the Avdiyivsky front — Avdiivka, Berdychi, Pisky, Perevalsk and Mariinka.
On the Novopavlivsky and Zaporizhzhian fronts, the enemy did not conduct active actions. At the same time, it carried out artillery attacks near Novoukrayinka, Neskyuchne, Vremivka, Zaliznychny, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Chervone, Novopol and Uspenivka.
On the South Buzhsky front, areas near 25 populated places along the line of contact were shelled. To conduct reconnaissance, correct fire and strikes on objects of civilian infrastructure, the enemy carried out over 45 sorties of UAVs in this direction.
The Russian military command continues to take measures for replenishing losses in manpower, including by forming units from captured personnel. According to available information, around 400 individuals of this category arrived at a training center in the territory of Rostov Oblast on September 27th of this year.
Also, the enemy continues to send newly mobilized and low-qualified personnel to combat areas. Thus, on September 26th, seven tanks were sent to Lyman in Donetsk Oblast; two of them got into a traffic accident during movement. In addition, the crews formed did not undergo proper fire preparation with standard tank armament.
It is known that on September 27th, two thousand individuals mobilized from Crimea were dispatched from Sevastopol to Kherson Oblast. Additionally, military commissars in temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea received orders regarding the priority call-up of Crimean Tatars for Russian occupation forces and their deployment into combat units operating in areas with the most intense fighting. On September 26th alone, 21 individuals of this nationality were mobilized in Saky District.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. On September 27th of this year, in the Zaporizhzhian direction near Tokmak, Defense Forces units destroyed three S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. Casualty and irrecoverable losses among enemy personnel are being clarified.
Over the past day, subunits of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by the enemy in areas around populated places of Zaytseve, Mayorivka, Zalizne, Bakhmutse, Odryadivka, Mykolaivka Second, Ozerianivka, Perevalsk, Novomikhailivka, Pavlivka and Bezimenne.
To support ground formations' actions, aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 16 strikes over a day. Three strongholds were confirmed to be hit, ten locations where weapons and military equipment were gathered, as well as three anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy. In addition, our air defense units on various fronts shot down four UAVs and four guided aerial missiles Kh-59.
Rocket forces and artillery continue to inflict fire damage on enemy objects. Specifically, over a day, two command posts, seven areas where manpower was concentrated along with weapons and military equipment of the enemy, one relay station, three radio-electronic battle stations, two ammunition depots and one — with fuel-oil materials were hit.
We believe in our Armed Forces! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
