Yesterday, the blue-and-yellow team held a pre-match training session at the base of Polish FC "Krakowia." An unusual aspect of this practice was the presence of world champion in heavyweight boxing across four versions, Oleksandr Usyk, who came to support the national team.

The day before the decisive match against Scotland, half-back Danylo Ignatenko spoke about the mood of the Ukrainian team.

"The team feels great, we are ready for the game. Ahead is a good fight. We are prepared to 100%, even more than that."

"We had theory, we looked at our previous match against Scotland, they pointed out our mistakes and explained how we should have played. So I think you will see it on the field."

There is no need to get ready here — everyone plays for their country, for people who are now on the front lines fighting for our lives, for Ukraine.

Oleksandr Usyk's visit? It added us a bit of emotion. I saw him for the first time. Very positive impressions, great guy. I watched every one of his fights.

Supporters — our 12th player. I believe tomorrow will be the most important match that Ukraine's national team has ever played in the Nations League or any other tournament.

I don't think Scotland will play closed football, although a draw suits them. We'll see how their coach decides. A win is all we care about; ahead is a serious fight," — Ignatenko said.

Recall that the match of the 6th round group stage of the Nations League between Ukraine and Scotland will take place on September 27 in Krakow (kick-off at 9.45 PM Kyiv time).
