To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on September 25, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.
Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and fourteenth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.
Occupants continue to concentrate their efforts on attempts at a full occupation of the Donetsk region, as well as maintaining control over seized territories. They are shelling our troops along the line of contact, conducting aerial reconnaissance, and attempting to recapture lost positions in certain directions.
The enemy continues to destroy civilian infrastructure and housing for peaceful residents. There is a threat of air and missile strikes across all of Ukraine's territory.
Over the past day, Russian aggressors carried out seven missile attacks and 22 aerial strikes, conducted over 67 artillery shelling operations against military and civilian objects on Ukrainian territory, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war.
More than 35 populated areas were affected by enemy attacks. Among them are Zaporizhzhia, Ochakiv, Mykolaiv, Mirolyubivka, New York, Bihorivka, Krasnogorivka, Pavlivka, and Mayorshchyna.
On the Volynian and Polesian fronts, there have been no significant changes in the situation.
On other fronts, the enemy continues shelling with tanks, mortars, and field artillery, namely:
On the Northern front — around populated areas of Huta-Studenetska in Chernihiv Oblast and Bachivske in Sumy Oblast;
On the Slobozhanskyi front — around populated areas of Strilecha, Horiv Kozatsk, Dvorychne, Kupiansk, and Kucherivka;
On the Kramatorskyi front — Slovyanske, Korovyj Yar, Bogorodychne, Yavorove, and Ozerne;
On the Bakhmutskyi front — Siversk, Bakhmut, Bakhmutse, Opitne, Yakovlivka, Nelipovka, Yuriivka, Bihorivka, Rozdolivka;
On the Avdiyivskyi front — Avdiivka, Vodiane, Mariinka, and Paraskevivka.
On the Novopavlivskyi and Zaporizhzhia fronts, over 20 populated areas were hit by shelling from tanks, mortars, and field artillery, including Mikilske, Vuhledar, Kurdyumivka, Perechystyvka, Shevchenko, Bihorija, Temirovka, Veremivka, and Olhivske.
On the Southern Bug front, over 25 populated areas along the line of contact suffered from artillery fire. To conduct reconnaissance, correct firing, and target civilian infrastructure objects, the enemy carried out more than 30 sorties with drones.
In connection with partial mobilization announced by military-political leadership, Russian command on temporarily occupied territories is attempting to limit rights of servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation who signed short-term contracts. In enemy units on the Zaporizhzhia front, it was announced that the term of the contract no longer matters and time spent in combat zones now depends on the decision of command. Furthermore, partial mobilization is cited as a reason for postponing leave and salary payments, which has already led to significant deterioration in the moral-psychological state of enemy units.
Over the day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks around populated areas of Siversk, Viimka, Kurdyumivka, Zayceve, Novomikhailivka, and Pereymayske.
Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out 26 strikes — confirmed damage to 20 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment as well as six positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.
Rocket forces and artillery hit, among others, five command posts, thirteen areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, three positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, three rocket systems including "Uragan", and two ammunition depots. Losses are being verified.
We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
