Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on September 24, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and thirteenth day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on attempts at full occupation of the Donetsk region and holding onto seized territories, as well as halting active actions of the Defense Forces on certain fronts. They are shelling our positions along the entire line of confrontation, trying to recapture lost positions, conducting aerial reconnaissance.

The enemy does not cease to inflict strikes on civilian infrastructure and settlements of peaceful residents. The threat of air and missile strikes by occupiers remains throughout the territory of Ukraine.

Over the past day, Russian aggressors delivered five missile and 14 aerial strikes, carried out over 60 artillery attacks on military and civilian objects in Ukraine's territory, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war.

As a result of enemy fire, more than 60 populated areas were affected, including Pechenegi, Yatskivka, Yarova, Mariinka, Krasnogorivka, Bihirivka, Myrolubivka, Nikolaev, Sukhy Stavok, Nova Hryhorivka, Pivdenne, Mali Shcherbaki, Hryhorivka, Pivnichne, Shcherbaky, Ochakiv, Solone, Orikhiv and Arkhangelske. As a result of the enemy's strike on Odessa using attack drones, two people were killed and another two injured.

Last night, the city of Nikolaev was hit by a missile strike from the side of the occupiers. Information about civilian casualties is being clarified.

On the Volynian and Polesian fronts, the situation has not changed significantly.

On other fronts, the enemy carried out artillery strikes from tanks, mortars, and artillery:

on the Northern front — in the areas of populated places Pavlivka, Myropilske, Krasnopillya, Mesinevka and Slavgorod of Sumy region;

on the Slobozhanskyi front — in the areas of populated places Ivashki, Strilecha, Oleksandrivka, Kolodyazhne and Dvoriche;

on the Kramatorsk front — Yarova, Raiyhorodok, Dybrova, Ozernoye, Severnyi, Spirene, Rozdolivka, Veselye and Bihirivka;

on the Bakhmut front — Yakovlivka, Solorad, Bakhmutse, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolina, Otradivka, Zaytseve and Mayoriske;

on the Avdiyivskyi, Novopavlivskyi and Zaporizhzhia fronts — New York, Shevchenko, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Perevomayske, Vodyane, Opytne, Mariinka, Paraskeviivka, Novomykhailivka, Velika Novosyilka, Zolota Niva, Vuhledar, Mikilske, Yegorivka and Novoukrayinka.

On the South Buzhsky front, over 35 populated areas were shelled. Among them — Vishkopillya, Myrolubivka, Ukrainka, Lohove, Blahodativka, Shyroke, Sukhy Stavok, Bezimenne, Ternev Podi, Olhynne, Limany and Mire.

On temporarily occupied and occupied territory of Ukraine, the occupation authorities are conducting so-called "referendums". Due to low turnout at "voting stations", employees of "election commissions" in the company of armed servicemen of the Russian Federation's military forces are collecting signatures from local residents directly at their places of residence.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, men of conscription age who refused Ukrainian citizenship and received passports of the Russian federation have begun receiving mobilization notices from the occupation authorities.

Military personnel of Russian occupying forces continue to commit illegal acts against civilian population and engage in looting. Thus, according to available information, so-called "recruiters" in Melitopol seized a dealership for agricultural machinery and are attempting to sell off the property.

Over the day, subunits of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of populated places Spirene, Solorad, Bakhmutse, Otradivka, Kurdyumyvka, Zaytseve, Mayoriske, Kamianka, Avdiivka and Opytne. The air force of the Defense Forces delivered 25 strikes. It was confirmed that 18 areas of enemy forces' concentration and military equipment were hit as well as seven positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.

Anti-aircraft defense units destroyed one helicopter, one aircraft and eight drones of the occupiers.

Rocket troops and artillery struck six command posts, over 20 areas of enemy forces' concentration and military equipment, three positions of anti-aircraft defense and four ammunition depots. Losses in manpower and equipment are being clarified at this time.
