On September 16, the prestigious Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum welcomed its first vice presidents of the Ukrainian Football Association, Anatoliy Demianenko, Oleg Protasov, and Vadym Kostyuchenko.

Visits by representatives of the UFA to the lyceum are regular. However, this one was special — it was necessary to greet those who started their new academic year during full-scale war with Russia.

During the meeting with the head of the lyceum, Hero of Ukraine Major General Igor Gordiyukh, emphasis was placed on the close long-term cooperation between the UFA and the lyceum in terms of developing children's football and supporting orphans and children of war participants who are currently defending our Motherland from Russian aggressors.

During the conversation with Igor Gordiyukh, guests conveyed greetings from the president of the UFA and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelka and discussed further cooperation prospects and support for football development and infrastructure in the educational institution. In particular, the UFA will help organize and conduct the II All-Ukrainian mini-football tournament "Memorial Cup of Hero of Ukraine Andriy Kizil" among lyceum students across the country.

After discussing with the head of the lyceum, guests toured the sports facilities, including a mini-football pitch with artificial turf 42 x 22 m, an indoor gymnasium with a mini-football field with artificial turf, as well as the Andriy Kizil Hero of Ukraine Sports Arena with an artificial football field 60 x 40 m.

Currently, reconstruction of the stands is underway at the arena.

Based on the meeting results, it was decided to continue cooperation between the Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum and the Ukrainian Football Association and outlined directions for interaction with the educational institution.
