The blue-and-yellow team gathered for the first time since February, when they secured fourth place at Euro-2022. On September 12 in Moldovan Chiorescu, our team's training camp began, coinciding with preparations for the qualifiers for the 2024 Championships.

Today, the Ukraine national team played a friendly match against Moldova. The score in the game was opened by debutant of our team Andriy Melnyk; also in the first half-time Artem Farenyuk and Yevhen Syryi scored.

After halftime, Mykhailo Mikhityuk and Igor Korsun scored for Ukraine's national team, with Melnyk completing his brace. However, Moldovans failed to convert two double penalties but managed to score on their third attempt. In the end, our team won 6-1.

"The core of the team has remained intact since they performed very well at the European Championship. Their play and attitude towards work deserve a call-up to the national team. We will also look at other players. If someone from potential newcomers or those who have previously been called up shows themselves, they will receive a call-up. The path to the national team is open. In friendly matches, we will assess the current state of each futsal player. This is the final stage of preparation for official matches. We don't have much time left," — head coach Oleksandr Kosynko said in an interview with the press service of the Ukrainian Futsal Association.

Ahead, blue-and-yellow are looking forward to matches within the Three Nations Cup against Moldova (September 18) and Romania (September 19), which will also take place in Chiorescu.
