The draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2022/2023 took place today, with the only Ukrainian representative in the tournament — Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' — participating.

We remind you that the miners automatically qualified for the main competition. Unfortunately, Kyiv's 'Dynamo' failed to overcome the final hurdle of qualification and was relegated to the group stage of the Europa League, whose draw will take place tomorrow, August 26.

According to the results of the Champions League draw, 'Shakhtar' ended up in Group F, where they will compete against Spanish 'Real Madrid', goalkeeper of Ukraine's national team Andriy Lunin, German 'Leipzig', and Scottish 'Celtic FC'.
