Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 19, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The seventeenth-seventh day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volynian, Polesian, and Northern Directions no changes. The enemy shelled the populated area of Pavlivka in Sumy Oblast with artillery.

On the Kharkiv Direction the opponent carried out tank fire, field and rocket artillery strikes around the populated areas of Kharkiv, Chuhuyiv, Zolochiv, Protopyvka, Sosnyvka, Korobochkine, Sheshakov, Milova, Duvanka, Gusarivka, and Prudyanka.

Carried out air strikes with aircraft and helicopters near Yavorivsky, Staro-Saltovo, Lebyazhie, and Zaliman.

On the Sloviansk Direction the opponent carried out fire attacks with artillery of various types around the areas near Dybriwne, Dolgenyk, Vyrnopillya, Suligivka, Chepyl, Mazanivka, and Bogorodychne.

The enemy attempted to conduct assault operations on the axes Barabashivka — Karnaukhivka, Suligivka — Dybriwne, Suligivka — Nova Dmitrivka.

On the Kramatorsk Direction shelling near Severesk, Rozdolovky, Hryhorivka, Sydorove, and Pryshyb was recorded.

On the Bakhmut Direction fire influence from tanks, field and rocket artillery was noted around the populated areas of Bakhmut, Soltar, Berestove, Veselye, Zaytseve, Yakovlivka, Kodema, Spirene, Ivan-Daryivka, Bilohorivka, and Zalizne. The occupiers carried out air strikes with strike aviation in the area of Soltar.

The opponent conducted offensive battles on the axes Spirene — Viyimka, Strypivka — Soltar, Volodymyrivka — Soltar, Klinove — Bakhmut, Verkhnya — Kodema. On these directions, units of the opponent did not succeed and withdrew.

Battles continue on the axis Pokrovsko — Bakhmutsko.

On the Avdiivka Direction artillery shelling was recorded near Avdiivka, Mariinka, Krasnogorivka, Pisky, Opytny, Novomaysky, Nevelsky, Novobakhmutivka, and Netaylovo. The enemy carried out air strikes around Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, and Pavlivka.

Conducting assault operations on the axis Luhanske — Novomayskoe, combat actions continue.

On the Novopavlovsk Direction areas around the populated places of Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Velyka Novosylikha, Ugledar, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, and Zolota Niva were affected by fire.

On the Zaporizhzhia Direction the enemy used tanks and artillery around Shevchenko, Charyvne, Preobrazhenky, Zaliznychny, Hulyaypole, Novosylikha, Stepove, Vremivka, and Dorozhnyanka.

On the Southern Buzk Direction the enemy continued shelling our positions with tanks, field and rocket artillery along the line of battle contact. Carried out an air strike in the area of populated place Mykolayivske.

In the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea three missile carriers of the Kalibr type are on combat duty.
