Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 7, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred sixty-fifth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, according to available information, on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, the armed forces of the Russian Federation are deploying additional troops and anti-aircraft defense systems.

On the Northern Direction the enemy shelled with artillery the areas of the settlements Hay and Gremyach in Chernihiv Oblast and Novi Vyrky in Sumy Oblast.

On the Kharkiv Direction the enemy carried out artillery strikes from field and multiple rocket launchers along the entire line of contact. Conducted aerial attacks with helicopters near Verkhny Saltov and Pryshyb.

On the Slovyansk Direction the enemy inflicted fire damage with various types of artillery in the areas of the settlements Velyka Komishuvaha, Brakhivka, Virnopillya, Suligivka, Karnaukhivka, Ridne, Dibrivne, Gryshuvaха, Bogorodychne, Norcivka and Zaliman.

To complicate the conduct of air reconnaissance, the enemy employed radio-electronic warfare complexes.

The enemy launched offensive battles in the areas of Bogorodychne and Dolyna but did not succeed.

On the Kramatorsk Direction shelling with tanks, field and multiple rocket launchers was recorded in the areas of the settlements Kramatorsk, Karpyvka, Severnyy, Verkhokamyanske, Pereyezdyne, Hryhorivka, Donetskoye, Raygorodok, Zvanivka and Ivan-Daryivka. The occupiers carried out an air attack with strike aircraft near Spirne.

The enemy attempted to conduct an offensive in the area of Verkhokamyanske but did not succeed and withdrew.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy carried out shelling near Bakhmut, Kostyantynivka, Sverdlovsk, Zaytseve, Yakovlivka, Shumy, Kodema, Bilohorivka, Ivanivka, Vesela Dolyna and Bakhmutsky. Conducted air strikes near Zaytseve and Bakhmut.

The enemy carried out assault actions on the axes of Volodymyrivka — Yakovlivka, Pokrovskoye — Bakhmut, Voskresenye — Verkhne, Novoluganske — Zaytseve. Ukrainian soldiers held their positions and repelled the occupiers.

The enemy continues to conduct offensive actions on the axes of Novoluganske — Kodema, Travnove — Kodema, Semihirya — Zaytseve. Combat operations are ongoing.

On the Avdiivka Direction the occupiers carried out shelling with field and multiple rocket launchers and tanks in the areas of the settlements Avdiivka, Pavlivka, Pisky, Shevchenko, Netaylove, Nevelske, Oleksandrivka and New York. Conducted air strikes near Mykilske, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Volodymyrivka and Marinka.

The enemy launched offensive battles on the axes of Novobakhmutivka — Krasnyhorivka, Spartak — Avdiivka, Veseloye — Pisky but did not succeed and withdrew.

On the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia Directions shelling with field and multiple rocket launchers was recorded in the areas of the settlements Poltavka, Stebneve, Trudove, Novomykhailivka, Bihorodok, Novoandriyivka, Novopil, Volodymyrivka, Novoselykha, Mala Tokmakha, Vremivka, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Stebnogirsk and Temirovka. Enemy aviation was active near Veseloye, Novodanylivka, Malishchyky and Novoselykha.

On the Southern Buzok Direction the enemy carried out shelling with tanks and all types of artillery along the line of contact and in depth of defense, attempting to hold occupied positions.

Conducted air strikes near Andriyivka, Bihorodok and Velykyi Artakove. Conducted intensive aerial reconnaissance by UAVs.

Four carriers of sea-based cruise missiles are in readiness for the use of high-precision weapons.

Ukrainian aviation and rocket-artillery units continue to inflict fire damage on concentrations of enemy manpower, military equipment and ammunition depots. As a result of losses, the enemy's personnel composition on some axes refuses to go into battle and resorts to sabotage.
