Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 02.08.2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred and sixtieth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions the situation and composition of the Belarusian armed forces units remain unchanged. There is a threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of this country.

On the Northern Direction the enemy shelled the village of Mikhailchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv Oblast. The enemy periodically conducts aerial reconnaissance of positions of the Defense Forces in border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts.

On the Kharkiv Direction the enemy shelled with field artillery and multiple rocket launchers the areas of Kharkiv, Chuguyev, Protopopovka, Gusarivka, Chernechky Tishki, Petrovka, and Rtyshchevka. Conducted an air strike near Upper Saltovo. Carried out advances by separate units in the vicinity of the populated areas of Bayrak and Demeniyevka, after artillery fire withdrew.

On the Slovyansk Direction shelling was recorded near Kurulykha, Grushuvaha, Chepyl, Karnaukhivka, Dolyna, and Barvinokovo, as well as an air strike near Dibrivno.

On the Donetsk Direction enemy efforts are focused on conducting an offensive on the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka axes.

On the Kramatorsk Direction the enemy shelled with tanks and artillery the areas of Serebryanka, Severnyy, Zvanivka, and Donetsk. Conducted air strikes near Serebryanka. Carried out assault actions near Ivan-Daryivka, without success, withdrew.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy carried out shelling of military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Yakovlivka, Solodar, Bakhmut, Kodema, Semigirya, Travnivoye, and Zaytseve. Conducted air strikes near Solodar, Yakovlivka, Semigirya, Pokrovskiy, and Belogorivka.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled assault actions in the areas of Yakovlivka, Verkhnya, Kodema, and Travnivoye. Fighting continues near Bakhmut and Zaytseve.

On the Avdiyivka Direction shelling was recorded near Avdiyivka, Netaylovo, and New York. The enemy used aviation near Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka, and Krasnogorivka. Carried out assault actions in the vicinity of Avdiyivka, without success, withdrew. Fighting continues around Pisky.

On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhya Directions the enemy carried out shelling in the areas of Mariinka, Kostiantynivka, Novosilka, Pavlivka, Charyvne, and Mala Tokmachka.

Attempted to advance a reconnaissance group near Novopol. It was detected, artillery fire was delivered, and it was destroyed.

On the Southern Buzhok Direction the main efforts of the enemy are focused on preventing our troops from advancing.

Carried out systematic shelling in the areas of Mykolaiv, Trudolyubivka, Tokareve, Topolinoe, Knyazivka, Osokorivka, Apostolove, Ivanivka, Posad-Pokrovskoye, Novogrigoriyevka, Kobzarki, Shiroke, and Andriyivka.

Carried out assault actions near Trudolyubivka, without success, withdrew.

The enemy naval group in the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea focuses its main efforts on conducting reconnaissance, blocking civilian maritime traffic in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, and targeting objects deep within Ukrainian territory.
