In the first round of the tournament yesterday, Ukraine's national team lost to England with a score of 1-6. Today, however, the opponent for the Ukrainian women was the world's top-ranked BSWW team — Spain.

The title contender quickly settled all questions about the outcome of this match-up. As early as in the first period, four dry goals flew into Snizhana Volovenko's goal.

After that, the Spanish team slowed down their pace and scored only once more in each of the following 12-minute periods. Our footballers managed to level the score with a beautiful long-distance goal by Yulia Deytch. Thus, the final result was 5-1 — victory for Spain.
