The goal of the webinar was:

— to familiarize participants with UEFA's concept and tools regarding child protection in football;

— to improve practical skills and motivation aimed at creating a safer environment for children in football;

— to introduce participants to the activities of the UAF concerning child protection in football, including the UAF's Child Protection Policy.

In addition, managers will complete online courses developed by UEFA and the Swiss child protection organization Terre des Hommes, and begin work to strengthen child protection in football across various corners of Ukraine.

This policy confirms the UAF's commitment to creating conditions for safe participation of children in football or related activities, regardless of their age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic background, social origin, religion, and level of ability or disability.

Such introductory seminars have already been conducted for UAF employees, partner organizations, volunteers of social children's projects, etc. The UAF has already started integrating a child protection course into the training program for coaches. The next step will be to hold introductory webinars on child protection issues for DYPF clubs.
