Tuesday, July 18 will see the draw for the third qualifying round of the Champions League (13:00 Kyiv time), Europa League (14:00) and Conference League (15:00). Dynamo, Zorya and Vorzel will learn about their potential opponents.

We remind you that five clubs will represent our association on the international stage in the 2022/2023 season.

The club that held first place in the UPL table as of February 24, "Shakhtar," was supposed to start in the play-off round of the Champions League. However, due to Russia's disqualification and Real Madrid's victory in the Copa del Rey, the miners received a bye straight into the group stage.

The second-placed club, "Dynamo," entered the second qualifying round of the Champions League. To reach the Champions League group stage, they will need to overcome three opponents. In the second qualification round, their opponent is Turkish "Fenerbahçe"; today Kyiv fans will learn about a potential opponent in the third qualifying round. If unsuccessful at any stage, our representative will move on to the Europa League; however, only if they manage to defeat one opponent in the Champions League will they advance directly to the group stage of the Europa League. Otherwise, they will have to go through qualification for the Europa League as well.

The third-ranked club, "Dnipro-1," considering the suspension of the Vbet Cup season 2021/2022, will represent Ukraine in the Europa League — in the play-off round of qualifying. In case of failure in the play-off round of the Europa League, they automatically move to the group stage of the Conference League.

In the basic registration for the Conference League, the country has two delegates. The fourth team in the UPL ("Zorya") will start in the third qualifying round, while the fifth ("Vorzel") — in the second. Thus, our clubs need to overcome two and three opponents respectively to reach the main draw of the CL. Today the opponents for "Zorya" and "Vorzel" in the third qualification round will be determined. In the second round, we remind you that the Poltava team will play against Swedish AIK.
