Within the framework of a partnership project between the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the All-Ukrainian Foundation "Child Rights Protection", the "Open Football Lessons" initiative provided psychosocial support to children affected by the war, both internally displaced children and local ones, in Mykolaiv, Lviv Oblast.

The project was hosted by the local FC "Mykolaiv" and its president, community council member Mykhailo Opryshko, as well as the director of the Sports School for Young Athletes Roman Chen. The football component of the project was provided by the Lviv Football Association under the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF).
