Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 8, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has entered its one hundred thirty-fifth day.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions significant changes in the composition and activities of Belarusian armed forces units in border areas of Brest and Gomel regions are not observed.

On the Northern Direction the enemy shelled with rocket artillery and mortar fire the area around the village of Mikhailchyna Sloboda, Chernihiv region.

On the Kharkiv Direction occupiers continue defensive operations. The enemy carried out artillery, multiple launch rocket system, and tank shelling in the areas of the towns of Kharkiv, Mykilske, Lebiazhe, Udi, Demeniyevka, Verkhniy Saltiv, Staryi Saltiv, Petrovka, Russkie Tishki, and Bayrak. Carried out an air strike near Petrovka.

Ukrainian soldiers decisively suppressed the enemy's assault attempt towards Demeniyevka.

On the Slovyansk Direction the enemy carried out fire strikes with artillery of various calibers in the areas of the villages of Volobuyivka, Khrestishche, Gusarivka, Chepyl, Mazanivka, Dolyna, Chervone, Dibrivne, Bogorodichne, and Adamivka.

In the area of Bogorodichne our defenders inflicted losses on the enemy during his очередной attempt to advance and repelled the occupiers back.

On the Kramatorsk Direction occupiers shelled with field and rocket artillery areas around Severna, Hryhorivka, Bihorivka, Zolotaryvka, Serednyanka, Verkhnyokamyanskyi, Zvanivka, and Rozdolvka. The enemy carried out an advance towards Verkhnyokamyanskyi with partial success.

On the Bakhmut Direction the opponent carried out shelling from mortars, field artillery, and rocket systems in the areas of the towns of Bakhmut, Spirene, Ivan-Daryivka, Beresteve, Pokrovskoe, Verkhnya, Volodymyrivka, Opitnoe, Toretsk, Zaytsevo, Kodema, Klinove, and New York. Carried out air strikes near Verkhnya and Vuglegirskaya TES.

Occupants are advancing towards Vesela Dolyna and in the area of Spirene village, combat operations continue.

On the Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia Directions skirmishes along the line of contact with mortars, tanks, field artillery, and rocket systems are ongoing. The enemy carried out air strikes near Vasilivka, Avdiivka, Novoselivka, Veselo, and Novomikhailivka.

On the South Buzhok Direction the enemy focuses its efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian Defense Forces. Carries out systematic fire strikes with field artillery and rocket systems along the line of contact to immobilize our troops.

Ukrainian aviation and rocket-artillery units continue to inflict fire damage on concentrations of manpower, military equipment, and ammunition depots of Russian occupiers.
