Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 2, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The one hundred twenty-ninth day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, according to available information, in the armed forces of the republic Belarus, mobilization training periods have been extended until July 9 of this year (previous periods: June 22 — July 1, 2022). Within the framework of these measures, through military commissariats of the Gomel region, summonses are being delivered. In addition, medical personnel were informed about a ban on leaving the country.

On the Northern Direction, with the aim of covering the Russian-Ukrainian border in Bryansk and Kursk regions, the enemy continues to maintain up to three battalion tactical groups from the 1st Tank Army, 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, and units of airborne troops. The aggressor carried out artillery shelling of positions of the Defense Forces in border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

To disrupt the management system and communication of Defense Force units, the enemy applies radio-electronic warfare complexes in the vicinity of settlements located near the state border on the territory of Belgorod region.

On the Kharkiv Direction, enemy units are concentrating efforts to tie down our troops and prevent their further advance. To regain lost positions, the enemy is conducting storming actions towards Korchubeivka — Demeniyevka. Carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Zolochyv, Ruska Loshava, Khrestische, Pereymoha, Demeniyevka, Verkhniy Saltiv, Molyodova, Staro-Saltiv, Korobochkine, Zamulivka, Velyka Babka, Volobyuvka and Maliivka. Delivered air strikes near Verhniy Saltiv, Prudyanky and Mospanovo.

On the Slovyansk Direction, the enemy is conducting defensive battles. Also attempted to storm Bogorodichne, without success. Shelled with artillery areas of Dolyna, Dybryvne, Kurulka, Mazanivka, Bogorodichne, Krasnopillya, Adamivka, Suka Kamianka, Husaryvka and Kriniche.

The enemy is trying to improve the logistics support system on this direction.

On the Kramatorsk Direction, the enemy shelled with field and rocket artillery areas of Bihorivka, Mayaki and Donetsk, while on the Lyman Direction — Zolotaryvka and Verkhnyokamyanske. In the latter direction, he launched an offensive, without success, withdrew.

On the Bakhmut Direction, shelling with mortars, field and rocket artillery near Verhinya, Bakhmut and Spirne was recorded. Also, enemy air strikes were observed in the vicinity of Verhinya.

On the Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia Directions, occupiers shelled with artillery of various calibers areas of Shumi, New York, Zalizne, Avdiivka, Krasnogorivka, Novomykhailivka, Mariinka, Pavlivka, Vuhledar, Zolotaya Niva, Shevchenko, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv and Zaliznychne. Enemy air strikes were recorded near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka.

On the South Buzhok Direction, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on holding occupied positions and preventing advancement of Defense Forces units of Ukraine. Carried out shelling near Partizansk, Kobzarci, Prybuzkoe, Tavriiskoye, Stepova Dolina, Posad-Pokrovskoye, Trudolyubivka, Mykolayivka, Podyomkin and Luparev.

In the northwestern part of the Black Sea, a naval group of the Russian Federation's Black Sea Fleet continues to carry out tasks of blocking Ukraine's maritime communications and conducting reconnaissance. The enemy maintains two carriers of high-precision weapons in readiness for missile strikes on targets within Ukraine.

Elimination aviation of air forces continues patrolling Ukrainian airspace, while strike aviation is providing fire support to our units in designated operational areas with some success.

Russian occupiers and their accomplices are afraid of local population resistance, which is growing, particularly in the Kherson region. The leadership of oppressors moves around with heavy security, in armored vehicles and bulletproof vests. Local residents continue to put up total resistance.
