Despite playing for "Ferencváros" in all tournaments that the Hungarian team participated in and becoming a champion with them, Ukrainian national team half-back Oleksandr Zubkov finds it hard to call last season's club campaign successful.

Fortunately, the Ukrainian player avoided the traditional health issues that had plagued him in recent years. However, another problem arose — an odd lack of trust from the head coach during periods when Zubkov seemed to be in good shape.

Nevertheless, even under these unfavorable conditions, Oleksandr played as many matches for "Ferencvaros" as he did last season. In terms of the "goal+assist" system, his overall performance exceeded his previous records: 11 (3+8) compared to nine (6+3).
