Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 16, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The one hundred and thirteenth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions within the framework of checking combat readiness, in one of the mechanized brigades of the republic of Belarus, units for receiving mobilization resources were set up with practical acceptance of military obligations.

On the Northern Direction the enemy continues to deploy troops from the Russian Federation's Western Military District in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions with the aim of demonstrating presence and restraining actions of defense units.

The enemy carried out artillery shelling of our positions near the populated areas of Leonivka and Bachivsk, Chernihiv and Sumy regions respectively.

On the Slobozhansky Direction the enemy is redeploying troops to increase offensive capabilities.

On the Kharkiv Direction the main efforts of the enemy are focused on holding occupied lines. To restrain our units and prevent a transition into attack, the enemy carried out intense artillery shelling, including with multiple rocket launchers, in areas near Basaliyivka, Udi, and Verkhniy Saltiv.

On the Sloviansky Direction the aggressor is conducting storming actions, searching for weak spots in our defense positions. Shelled civilian infrastructure near Pryshyb, Dolyna, Karnaukhivka, and Verhopillya with artillery of various calibers.

On the Donetsk Direction the enemy is conducting combat actions along the line of contact. Main efforts are focused on the Bakhmutsky direction.

On the Lyman Direction the enemy did not conduct active operations, shelled our units with field artillery in the area of Piskunivka.

On the Severodonetsk Direction Russian occupiers continue to exert fire pressure on our units from all available firing means near populated areas of Bihorivka, Lysychansk, and Severodonetsk.

The enemy does not stop trying to establish full control over the city of Severodonetsk. Conducting a storm, fighting continues.

On the Bakhmutsky Direction the enemy is conducting storming actions with the aim of improving tactical position. Recorded artillery shelling in areas near populated places of Veselo, Siversk, Beresteve, and Vovchyarivka.

On the Lyman, Avdiyivsky, Novopavlovsky, and Zaporizhzhia Directions the enemy is systematically exerting fire pressure with the aim of restraining actions of our units near populated areas of Novobakhmutivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Mykilske, Antonivka, Hulyaypole, Novopil, and Orikhiv.

On the Yegorivka — Shevchenko direction our soldiers identified and destroyed a reconnaissance group of the enemy.

On the Southern Buzhsky and Tavriysky Directions the enemy is focusing efforts on holding occupied lines and preventing advance of our troops. Inflicting fire damage to units of defense forces. Continuing improvement of engineering equipment in positions near populated areas of Bezvodne and Yshchanka.

In the Black Sea and Azov Sea Operational Zones main efforts of the enemy are focused on blocking civilian maritime traffic. In the waters of the Black Sea, the enemy maintains three carriers of high-precision weapons in readiness for use.
