After the Nations League match Ireland – Ukraine (0:1) in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium, the head coach of our opponent Stephen Kenny shared his impressions with the media.

"I said after the match against Armenia that my team did not deserve to lose. The same I can say now. We started well and pressed the opposition in the first 20 minutes of the game. But then the game evened out. We had opportunities to score, but we didn't take them. And our opponent took full advantage of their chance."

Ukraine has a great team, and its young footballers demonstrated class and fighting spirit today that were in no way inferior to those shown by more experienced players in the match against Scotland.

But I'll repeat – in my opinion, today's game was even," — noted Kenny.
