Yesterday, the blue-and-yellow team held a training session at the «Aviva» stadium in Dublin, where they will play against Ireland today as part of the Nations League. The day before the match, Vitaliy Mykolenko recalled that he has never faced Irish players before.

"After the flight, we recovered, then had a training session, and now we're getting ready for the game. We are starting the Nations League. We forgot about our last match, it's time to move forward. Our task now is to get back into League A because we shouldn't have been relegated to League B. I believe we deserved to stay in the higher division. So now our goal is to return."

The stadium in Dublin is great. I hope that fans will come to support us and the Irish national team, so that the arena will be full.

I have never met the Irish players before. So this will be a premiere meeting. We played against Northern Ireland but not against Ireland. There was a theory presented to us about the team, we are preparing for it. We've already forgotten about the previous match and are moving forward. It's going to be a fight,"— noted Mykolenko.

Let's remind you that the first Nations League-2022/2023 match of the Ukraine national team will take place against Ireland in Dublin today, June 8 (kickoff at 9:45 PM Kyiv time).
