Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 8, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The one hundred and fifth day has begun of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the Russian military invasion.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions according to the plan, until June 11, 2022, in the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus, issues related to the creation of strike groupings on one of the directions will be addressed, as well as a check of the transportation infrastructure for the movement of units.

On the Northern Direction enemy units continue demonstrative actions aimed at restraining the operations of defense forces units.

On the Kharkiv Direction the main efforts of the enemy are focused on holding occupied positions. To prevent our troops from advancing, he continues to mine areas.

On the Sloviansk Direction the enemy is conducting assault actions aimed at improving tactical positioning. To prevent a counter-offensive by our forces, he is installing engineering equipment on firing positions in the area of the town of Izium.

On the Lyman Direction the enemy made an attempt to probe with combat operations towards the town of Raihorodok but was unsuccessful and withdrew.

On the Severodonetsk Direction our soldiers are successfully holding off the assault in the city of Severodonetsk, where fighting continues. In the area of the village of Toshkivka, the enemy's advance failed. The enemy also attempted to push towards the village of Ustynivka but was repelled by Ukrainian defenders.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy increased the intensity of tactical and operational aviation use. He shelled our units' positions with mortars, artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of the villages of Pokrovskoye, Berezhnoye, Zolote-4, Vrubivka, Travnianoe, Yakovlivka, and Dolomitne. Helicopters Ka-52 conducted air strikes on the areas of the villages of Pokrovskoye, Revival, and Yakovlivka.

In the area of the village of Nagyrene, as a result of fire from Ukrainian forces, the enemy withdrew to previously occupied positions.

On the Avdiivka, Novopavlovsk, and Zaporizhzhia Directions to restrain our troops' actions and prevent the redeployment of defense force reserves to other directions, the enemy carried out intense fire strikes on our units' positions in the areas of the villages of Pisky, New York, Lubomyrivka, Avdiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Novoselyvka, Vuhledar, Orikhiv, Komishuvahta, Vodyane, Perevalne, Mariinka, and Opitne. Air strikes were carried out on New York, and a rocket strike was made on the village of Kryahove.

On the South Buzhok Direction the enemy is conducting positional defense. Artillery shelling has been observed in the areas of the villages of Mykolaiv, Dolina, Tavriyske, Kulbakiino, White Spring, Trudolyubivka, Blagodatne, Luzh, and Topoline.

On the Bessarabian Direction no significant changes.

Over the past day, defenders of Ukraine on the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions repelled eleven enemy attacks, destroying three tanks, five artillery systems, two armored combat vehicles, thirteen units of motorized equipment, and three ammunition depots belonging to the enemy. Air defense units shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Orlan-10" type.

The morale of the enemy's personnel is low. According to available information, military servicemen from units within the 106th and 76th airborne divisions who refused further participation in combat operations are being returned from Luhansk Oblast to Russian territory.
