Yesterday, on June 3rd, on the first day of the gathering, players of our team arrived from different corners of Ukraine and Europe, reports the press service of the Ukrainian Futsal Association.

San Marino is the first country where the preparation of blue-and-yellow will take place. Today's day for our team started with a two-hour training session that opens quite a long gathering.

The preparation of the Ukrainian women's team will take place in San Marino, Italy, France, and Portugal. During this period, friendly matches against the national teams of Italy and Portugal are planned.

Composition of the Ukrainian Women's Futsal Team

Goalkeepers —  Victoria Sagaydachna, Anastasia Teresh, Natalia Mytrofanovska, Victoria Kislava; field players — Yulia Forsyuk, Xenia Gryzhenko, Iryna Dubitska, Alona Kirychuk, Snizhana Volovenko, Yulia Titova, Sofia Ruban, Xenia Burlachenko, Yana Dychko, Taisiya Babenko, Oleksandra Skibina, Mariya Vaskovets, Polina Drzozh, Khrystyna Yeromenco.

Recall that the final tournament of the second in history Women's European Futsal Championship, which Ukraine will participate in, will take place from July 1-3 this year.

Earlier, UEFA announced that the final tournament of the Women's Euro-2022 Futsal Championship, which was scheduled to take place from March 25-27 in Portugal, has been postponed. This decision was made after consultations and obtaining consent from the football association of the host country.

Later UEFA announced new dates for semifinals and medal matches. The matches are scheduled for July 1-3. Thus, on July 1st, Ukraine will play against Spain in the semifinal. The venue of the final tournament has not changed — all meetings will take place in Gondomar, Portugal.

In another semifinal match, Portugal and Russia were supposed to meet. However, due to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, FIFA and UEFA excluded the teams of Russia and clubs from the aggressor country from all competitions under their auspices. As a result, the Russian women's futsal team will not participate in the Euro-2022 final tournament. According to UEFA's decision, Hungary, which secured second place in its group of the main round qualifier, will take part in the continental elite.
