Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 25, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The ninetieth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion has begun.

The enemy intensified the use of aviation to support its ground offensive. Due to a lack of high-precision missile weapons, the adversary is seeking other ways to target critical and military targets within Ukraine's territory.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions up to seven battalions of Belarusian armed forces continue to carry out tasks to strengthen the protection of the Belarus-Ukraine border. There remains a threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus.

On the Northern Direction the enemy continues to reinforce the coverage of the Ukrainian-Russian border area, equipping defensive points in border areas within Bryansk Oblast. Occupants continued artillery and mortar shelling of positions of the Defense Forces and civilian infrastructure in Sumy Oblast from Russian territory.

On the Kharkiv Direction the main efforts of the adversary are focused on holding occupied positions. Shelled civilian infrastructure with artillery fire in the area of Rubizhne village. Additionally, the enemy made another attempt to conduct offensive actions towards Terovo, without success.

On the Sloviansk Direction enemy units did not conduct active operations, focusing their main efforts on holding occupied positions, conducting reconnaissance and creating conditions for resuming the advance. Artillery and mortar shelling were recorded in the areas of Svagirsk and Dovgenke villages. Also, an air strike was carried out against Bayrak village.

With artillery support and military aviation, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to take control of Pasika village.

On the Lyman Direction the enemy intensified combat operations. Conducting offensive actions in the area of Lyman village with artillery and air support.

On the Severodonetsk Direction Russian occupiers are conducting an advance towards Severodonetsk village under artillery fire support, combat operations continue.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Komishuvakha, Yakovlivka and Troitskoye, without success and with losses.

On the Avdiivka Direction the enemy does not cease mortar and artillery shelling of Defense Forces positions and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Avdiivka, Pisky, Mariinka, Oril and Novosyolk villages. Used attack aircraft and military aviation in the areas of Kamianka, Avdiivka and Novomikhailovka.

On the South Buzok Direction the enemy did not conduct active combat operations. Conducted shelling of our troops' units and carried out counter-battery battles. Carried out engineering support measures for main communication routes and bridges.

In order to conduct combat operations and replenish significant losses in manpower and equipment on Ukrainian territory, Russian occupiers are forming reserve units from the Southern Military District.

Over the past day, nine attacks by Russian aggressors were repelled on the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions, three tanks, eight artillery systems, eighteen units of armored combat vehicles, one special armored vehicle, and one unit of other wheeled equipment were destroyed.

Anti-aircraft defense units in the specified direction destroyed six "Orlan-10" UAVs and one operational-tactical unmanned aerial complex ZALA.
