Players of the national team held a joint evening training session, with the main goal being to return to work after their rest. After warming up, the footballers worked on passing and shooting at small goals, as well as conducting game series.

Forward of Lisbon's "Benfica" Roman Yaremchuk shared his impressions from the training process.

"Good feelings, guys rested, spent time with their wives. Everything is fine. I stayed in Slovenia because it’s far to fly to Lisbon, but despite that, I am satisfied as I had a good time here. I found opportunities for individual work too, since lying around the hotel for two days seemed wrong. We worked out with the main coach, did some training.

Matches against "Empoli" and "Riecko" were very important because everyone got playing minutes. In the first game, we even won, in the second, of course, we wanted more, but didn’t lose. Everyone was satisfied and went into the weekend in good spirits.

We have a week until our match with Scotland, so now the most important thing is to listen to the instructions from the coaching staff. We will learn more about our opponent. We need to work productively during the time we have before the game. And of course, let’s hope for good luck," — said Roman Yaremchuk.

Recall that the match between Scotland and Ukraine in the 1/2 finals of the World Cup qualification play-offs will take place on June 1st at Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow.
