The ceremony, which will begin on Tuesday at 12:00 PM Kyiv time, will determine the group compositions of both leagues and the hosts for this fall's mini-tournaments. This is according to the official UEFA website.

In League A, 28 teams (including eight that moved up from League B based on the second round qualification results of the 2021/2022 season, which concluded this spring) will participate. They will be divided into seven groups. Teams in each group will play at one venue in a mini-tournament format.

Teams that finish fourth will continue their season in the second round of League B. The seeding for the second round will depend on which positions teams secure in their respective groups during the first round. Belgium will also participate, despite having an automatic qualification spot as a host nation.

Teams in League B (including those that were relegated from League A at the end of the 2021/2022 season and Gibraltar's national team, which is participating for the first time in UEFA women’s tournaments) will compete across seven groups to earn promotion to League A. Group winners will move up to a higher division.

Draw Order

In the first round, 52 participants will be divided into League A (28 teams) and League B (24 teams) based on their ranking from the second round results of the 2021/2022 season.

Teams in League A will be split into seven quartets, while those in League B will be divided into three quartets and four trios.

All teams within their leagues were distributed across pots (seven teams per pot in League A, seven teams each in Pots 1 and 2 of League B, ten in Pot 3). Each group in League A will feature one representative from each pot. In League B, each group will include one team from the first and second pots. Two teams from the third pot will be assigned to groups B1, B2, and B3, while one additional team will go into each of the remaining groups.

According to previous decisions by UEFA's Executive Committee and UEFA’s Emergency Task Force, Armenia and Azerbaijan national teams cannot end up in the same group.

After the draw, hosts for mini-tournaments will be determined. Matches will take place either from August 30/31 to September 5/6, or from October 4/5 to October 11, or from November 8/9 to November 14/15, 2022.

It is worth noting that Ukraine's WU-19 youth team has been placed in Pot 3 of League A.
