On May 17, the Ukraine youth team arrived in Istanbul, where their preparation for the final matches of the Euro-2023 (U-21) tournament against the Faroe Islands, North Macedonia, France, and Armenia will take place.
Yesterday, on May 18, the youth team conducted two training sessions. The evening session took place under the accompaniment of rain, but all planned activities were completed as scheduled. Today, the blue-and-yellow team will conduct another two trainings. Searches for sparring opponents are ongoing. Yesterday, Vladyslav Supryha, who plays for Italian "Sampdoria," also joined the team.

It is worth noting that the home matches against North Macedonia and France will be held in Istanbul at the "Essenyurt Nedim Kadioglu" stadium, where local team "Istanbulspor" plays (capacity 4,500 spectators). Both matches will start at 19:45.
As for both away matches of Ruslan Rotan's wards, the match against Faroe Islands - Ukraine will take place in Torshavn on the "Torshovur" stadium (kick-off at 20:00 Kyiv time), while the game against Armenia - Ukraine will be held at the Yerevan Football Academy Stadium (kick-off at 18:00 Kyiv time).

In the final stage of Euro-2023 (U-21), 16 teams will participate — Romania and Georgia as hosts, plus 14 national teams that qualify through the preliminary rounds (nine group winners, the best team among second-placed finishers, and four playoff winners).
Playoff: September 20-27, 2022.
Final tournament: June/July 2023.
The tournament involving 16 national teams will be hosted by four stadiums in Romania (two in Cluj-Napoca and two in Bucharest) and four in Georgia (in Batumi, Poti, and two in Tbilisi). The opening match will take place in Romania, while the final will be held in Georgia.
