Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 3, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The sixty-ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to conduct a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine and offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone.

The enemy is taking measures regarding replenishment of significant losses of equipment in units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation that are conducting combat operations on Ukrainian territory. According to available information, from April 27 to May 2, 2022, seventeen tanks and sixty BMP-1s were removed from storage in the city of Boguchar, Voronezh Oblast. They were dispatched to temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories by Russian forces.

On the Volynian, Polesian, and Northern Directions the enemy did not conduct active operations, no signs of forming offensive groupings have been detected.

On the Slobozhansky Direction the enemy continued to shell the city of Kharkiv and nearby populated areas.

On the Izium Direction the enemy carried out active artillery strikes on our units.

On the Donetsk Direction the main efforts of the enemy continue to be focused on establishing full control over the populated areas of Rubizhne and Popasna, as well as advancing towards the populated areas of Lyman and Svyatogorovka.

On the South-Bug Direction the enemy did not conduct active combat operations. Continued shelling of our units along the line of contact.

Over the previous day, subunits of air defense forces and ground troops shot down seven «Orlan-10» UAVs and one «Postupok» UAV.

On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts over the past day, twelve enemy attacks were repelled, six tanks, five artillery systems, twenty-two units of armored combat vehicles, and eight units of enemy motor vehicles were destroyed.

The enemy is also suffering losses on other fronts. The resistance movement continues to develop actively in temporarily occupied cities and villages by the aggressor.
