Note for attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 30, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The sixty-sixth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military aggression has begun.

The enemy continues to conduct a large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The enemy is continuing offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone with the aim of establishing full control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as maintaining a land corridor with temporarily occupied Crimea.

The enemy continues to carry out air strikes, missile attacks, and artillery shelling of civilian and military infrastructure deep within Ukrainian territory, positions of our troops along the line of contact, and in border areas. The redeployment and reinforcement of enemy forces continue.

In the Volynian and Polesian Directions the enemy did not conduct active operations. There have been no significant changes in the situation on these directions.

In the Northern Direction enemy units carried out shelling of our troops' positions in the areas of the settlements of Kindratyvka, Katerynivka, Svarokove, and Bilkopitove.

In the Slobozhanskyi Direction the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on holding occupied positions and delivering fire strikes against units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To strengthen his grouping, the enemy is moving separate units from the eastern military district's territory in Belgorod region to the Izium area.

Russian units attempted to conduct an offensive towards the settlements of Sulighivka and Dolhynke but were unsuccessful. In order to cover their groupings on Kharkiv and Izium Directions, the enemy is attempting to deploy forces and means for air defense.

In the Eastern Operational Zone the enemy continues offensive operations on the Lyman (in the areas of the settlements Yampil, Ozerne, Lyman), Severodonetsk (where it attempts to complete the capture of Rubizhnoye), Popasna (towards Kalynove and Popasna) and Kurakhivskyi (Olenyuvka and Novomykhailivka) Directions. No success has been achieved; combat operations continue.

In the Zaporizhzhia Direction artillery shelling of our troops' units continues.

In the South Buzhskyi Direction the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations. Isolated shelling of positions of our troops' units is being recorded.

In the Besarabian Direction no significant changes have been observed.

In the Mykolaivskiy Direction the enemy has intensified aerial reconnaissance in the operational depth of defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, likely to uncover the presence and nature of reserves.

Over the previous day, units of air defense forces and ground troops downed ten aerial targets: one aircraft and nine tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles "Orlan-10."

On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past day, fourteen enemy attacks were repelled; eleven tanks, seven artillery systems, twenty-eight units of armored equipment, and fourteen vehicles were destroyed.
