"Open Football Lessons" is a project to help internally displaced children who have moved to Western Ukraine due to the war. It is currently being implemented in seven regions: Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi. The project consists of two parts. The first part involves providing urgent humanitarian aid to families of internally displaced persons (this includes medicines, foodstuffs, and non-food items). The second part is conducting psychosocial events for children – both boys and girls – in the format of football festivals. Our goal is primarily to unite internally displaced children with local ones, help them integrate and socialize through mass football, and better adapt to their new environment. We are now preparing volunteers who will work on this project. We provide them with the necessary equipment for it," noted Yevheniy Stolytenko in his speech.
