The full-scale invasion of Russian occupiers into Ukraine forced many Ukrainian families with children to leave their homes and seek refuge in various European countries.
Among the evacuated children, there were many young players from different football DYSKHs and academies across Ukraine. In March, the UAF received requests from parents of 25 children asking for assistance to facilitate their acceptance into European clubs for continued training.

As a result of the conducted negotiations, it was possible to place one girl with FC "Ingolstadt 04" (Ingolstadt, Germany) and six boys with FC "Atalanta" (Bergamo, Italy), FC "Europa" (Barcelona, Spain), FC "Ternana" (Terne, Italy), FC "Södra"(Stockholm, Sweden), FC "Fiorentina" (Florence, Italy) as well as in football schools in Poland. Thus, our football talents will be able to maintain their playing potential and skills at the necessary practical level while temporarily abroad.
The UAF Coordination Center continues to work in this direction, as it is important for us to support our young male and female football players who, upon returning to Ukraine, will continue training and education in their usual format.
Thank you to our foreign partners for supporting the implementation of this important mission!
Reminder, the Coordination Center of the Ukrainian Football Association has been operating for two months now, established on February 24 in connection with Russia's military aggression and the declaration of martial law in Ukraine.
Within the coordination headquarters, a call center operates. Contact number: 0 800 331 016.
