After two weekends, the national team of Ukraine continued its preparatory camp in Slovenia, ahead of the playoff matches for the 2022 World Cup and the 2022/2023 Nations League.

Two days spent with their closest ones – families and children – gave the players an opportunity to catch their breath and recharge with positive emotions. Some of the players decided not to leave the team's accommodation in Breg, working individually – alone or together with coaches.

Today, the team gathered again and the players conducted a joint evening training session. The main goal was to get back to work after rest. After warming up, the players worked on passing with shots at small goals as well as playing series. It is important now to achieve a certain level of physical and game load so that the body feels back in sports shape again. On the field today were 16 outfield players and three goalkeepers. Denys Popov is undergoing treatment under the supervision of the medical staff.

Over the weekend, five of our players are expected to arrive – those whose clubs have finished their league matches – Ryslan Malinovskiy, Eduard Sobol, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Andriy Yarmolenko.
