White-blue broke into the play-off tournament for the second time in a row. On the Champions' Way, Dynamo defeated Swedish Brommapojkarna (1:0, 2:1), and in the third round proved stronger than Scottish Hibernian (1:0, 1:1).

The match at the stage of 1/16 final was held as one game on the stadium «Mardan» in Turkish Antalya. The first half went in favor of the Spanish team, which scored two goals. First, Madrid successfully concluded an attack from the left flank — Esteban played a pass for the offside and headed the ball into the goal. In the middle of the half, «Atletico» tightly played out a corner — Gil scored directly facing Surkis.

After halftime, individual actions by Redushka, who took control of the game and finished an attack with a long-range shot, allowed Dynamo to reduce the deficit and bring intrigue back. However, already three minutes later, the Spaniards increased their advantage again. Later, a substitute player Vinatea scored a double, while Munyios also added one more goal. Dynamo responded with another goal by Redushka, who again scored from outside the box, converting a corner.

In the end, 2:6 — as a year ago, «Dynamo» U-19 concluded its participation in the UEFA Youth League at the stage of 1/16 final.
