The accreditation for media at the final stage of CHS-2026 is underway.

The media accreditation process for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, is underway.

The accreditation for media at the final stage of CHS-2026 is underway.

Applications for representatives of mass media and media without broadcasting rights (non-rights holders) are open from January 26. The final application deadline is March 31.

Who Can Apply?

Media accreditation is available for:

— print and digital media;

— photographers;

— international and national information agencies;

— radio and television companies without broadcasting rights (limited number);

— official FIFA media partners (rights holders).

FIFA media partner accreditation is conducted directly through the FIFA Media Partnerships Department, which contacts relevant organizations directly.

Mandatory Registration in FIFA Media Hub

All application submissions for accreditation are accepted exclusively via the FIFA Media Hub platform. To apply, a confirmed personal account is required. Accounts are individual and not transferable to third parties.

Quotas and Access Keys

Accreditation of representatives of print media and photographers is conducted through national associations — members of FIFA. Each association receives a limited quota, which is formed based on:

— the team's participation in previous World Cups;

— the status of qualification for WC-2026.

Ukrainian media organizations and freelancers should contact UAF to obtain an access key.

Radio and TV without Broadcasting Rights

Media without broadcasting rights may apply without an access key, but the number of such accreditations is extremely limited, and media access policies on match days are still being formed. Additional questions regarding this type of accreditation can be sent to [email protected].

Media from Host Countries

Representatives of media working in the media from Canada, Mexico, or the USA will go through the accreditation process directly with FIFA. Detailed information is available in the FIFA Media Hub.

Application Review and Confirmation

All applicants will undergo a mandatory security check. The first FIFA accreditation confirmations are planned to be sent starting from March of this year.

Media Badges

The presence of accreditation does not guarantee access to matches. To work directly at the match, a separate media badge for each game must be obtained separately. Applications for media badges will open shortly after the start of accreditation and will be conducted through the FIFA Media Hub or FIFA Media App.

At the first stage, media badges will only be available for group stage matches (no more than one match per day).

Visa Issues

FIFA strongly recommends that representatives of media start the visa application process in a timely manner. The visa application procedure is not related to accreditation, and there is no need to wait for its confirmation.

Current Information

All official updates, instructions, and answers to frequently asked questions will be published in the FIFA Media Hub. In case of technical or organizational issues, use the platform's contact form.
