Today, on December 18, Kyiv Dynamo played their last group stage match of the Conference League — in Lublin against Virmens Noa.

Ihor Kostyuk's wards no longer had tournament motivation as they lost all chances to qualify for the play-offs after their defeat by Fiorentina (1:2) in the previous round. Meanwhile, Virmens were 17th in the table, giving them a decent chance to advance to the 1/16 final.

Dinamo opened the score in the first half: Pihalyonok passed to Voloshyn, and the goalkeeper's last man deflects it straight into Kabejev’s path — 1:0. At halftime, Dinamo consolidated their advantage. Again, Pihalyonok made a cross for Dubincha, who flicked it on, and Ponomarenko, outpacing his opponent, headed in the ball with precision. 2:0 — second win in the tournament, which, however, turned out to be just an empty victory at the finish line.
