Today, in their second group stage match of the Conference League, Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' hosted Polish 'Legia.' 

Under Arda Turan’s guidance, they started the tournament well by defeating Scottish Aberdeen away (3:2) in the first round. Today, however, they faced Warsaw-based 'Legia' in Krakow.

In the first half, Shakhtar struggled to create opportunities in attack. Instead, their opponents took advantage of Isaac's loss of possession and Rafal Augustyniak opened the scoring with a powerful shot into the top corner.

In the second half, Arda Turan made three immediate substitutions, which paid off. On the 61st minute, Yurim Konoplia received the ball on the right flank and delivered a cross to the penalty area where Luca Mirrello won the aerial duel. 1-1. Unfortunately, in the fourth added minute, Augustyniak demonstrated his powerful shot again from a set piece, scoring into the top corner once more. Thus, 1-2 — a disappointing loss for Shakhtar.
