We remind you that yesterday the Ukraine futsal team in Jonava won Lithuania (7:0) in a friendly match. The coach of the blue and yellow team, Oleksandr Kosenko, commented on this meeting, reports AFF.

— The team won — 7:0. It seemed that the approach was so professional that it couldn't be more professional.

— I think the guys were ready for the game in the national team. There was a break, the first game after vacation, they all met together... It's clear that someone somewhere crossed paths, but to meet as one — it had been several months since then.

It could be seen that they worked with enthusiasm on training and missed international futsal. Therefore, it was indeed very professional. The attitude and approach to the opponent were also appreciated. A good start.

— You asked them to start aggressively — they started aggressively. They worked hard on playing with a fifth field player — effectively not allowing anything to be done.

— That's why we train, so that the guys can enjoy the game, so that it works out for them on the court, so they create not only from their ball. You can also create with the opponent's ball — if everything is working out for you and you're scoring.

— Together with Igor Chernyavskyi, you named Vlad Pervezhev as the best player of the match. How difficult was it to make this decision, and who else was among the candidates?

— The whole team was among the candidates, the guys were indeed excellent. Each deserved a medal, but someone had to be chosen. Vlad scored the first three goals, so we highlighted him, but in fact everyone deserved it.

— In the second half, two debutants played. Both had moments, David made an assist. What can you say about their debuts?

— In my opinion, their debut went more or less well. It's clear that there were mistakes and nervousness during their first substitutions. But then it was visible that the nervousness passed, they started to create opportunities, pass, read the game in defense. I think it wasn't bad, but still there is a lot of potential for growth.

— The opponent surprised with how rough and unsportsmanlike they played at times. Did you talk to colleagues about whether this was too much?

— I think that in many teams there are, let's say, "dirty" players who don't restrain themselves when conceding a lot and start allowing things unacceptable for a professional.

We prepare ourselves for provocations in every game. We try to respond with goals, but sometimes someone may not hold back.

— When the fans thanked for the victory, it seemed like we were playing at home.

— Indeed, I want to thank our supporters again. No matter where we play, we feel their support. People come to every game, and it's nice when they thank us. We are grateful to them for coming and supporting — this is very important. We play first of all for them, for the soldiers, for our people...

We remind you that the second friendly match against Lithuania will be played by Ukraine's futsal team today, September 24th. The start of the match — at 19:00 Kyiv time.
