Today and tomorrow, September 23rd and 24th, the Ukraine national futsal team will play two friendlies against Lithuania as part of their preparation for the final stage of Euro-2026.

Both matches will take place in Jonava city and will start at 19:00 Kyiv time. In these encounters, coach Oleksandr Kosyenko will rely on 15 players.

As a reminder, after securing six wins in six matches of the Euro-2026 qualification round, the Ukraine national team qualified for the final tournament, which will take place from January 20 to February 7 next year on pitches in Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia.

The draw for the final tournament is scheduled for October 24. During the ceremony at "Žalgiris Arena" in Kaunas, four groups of four teams will be formed. The top two teams from each quartet will then advance to the quarter-finals.

At Euro-2026, sixteen participants will compete: Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Ukraine, Spain, Portugal, France, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Armenia, Belarus, and four playoff winners among the top eight second-place teams.
