Champions League draw. Shaktar and Dynamo learned their opponents in the main round

Today, on August 29, the draw for the group stage of the Conference League took place, with participation from Donetsk's "Shakhtar" (first pot) and Kyiv's "Dynamo" (second pot). The tournament for the 2025/2026 season features 36 clubs, distributed into six pots according to UEFA rankings. Each team will play one match against one opponent from each pot. "Shakhtar" will play against "Lechia Gdansk" (home) and "Shamrock Rovers" (away).

Tuesday, August 29 saw the draw for the group stage of the Conference League, in which Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' (first pot) and Kyiv's Dynamo (second pot) participated.

The tournament for the season-2025/2026 features 36 clubs, distributed across six pots according to UEFA rankings. Each team will play one match against each opponent from every other pot.

Shakhtar will face Legia (home), Shamrock (away), Rijeka (home), Aberdeen (away), Breidablik (home), and Hamrun Spartans (away).

Dynamo will play against Crystal Palace (home), Fiorentina (away), Zrinjski (home), Omonia (away), Noa (home), and Samsunspor (away).

Pot 1: 'Fiorentina' (Italy), 'AZ Alkmaar' (Netherlands), 'Shakhtar' (Ukraine), Slovan (Slovakia), Rapid (Austria), Legia (Poland).

Pot 2: 'Sparta' (Czech Republic), 'Dynamo' (Ukraine), Crystal Palace (England), Lech (Poland), Rayo Vallecano (Spain), Shamrock (Ireland).

Pot 3: Omonia (Cyprus), Mainz (Germany), Strasbourg (France), Jagiellonia (Poland), Celje (Slovenia), Rijeka (Croatia).

Pot 4: Zrinjski (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lincoln (Gibraltar), KuPS (Finland), AEK (Greece), Aberdeen (Scotland), Drita (Kosovo).

Pot 5: 'Breidablik' (Iceland), Sigma (Czech Republic), Samsunspor (Turkey), Raciborz (Poland), AEK Larnaca (Cyprus), Shkendija (North Macedonia).
