The Ukrainian youth team (players born in 2008) will participate in a friendly tournament in Sweden from September 4 to 9. The blue and yellow team will face their counterparts from Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.
Vladimir Samborskyi, who joined the coaching staff of Ukraine's youth teams and will lead the squad during the September gathering, has called up 22 footballers from 14 clubs for preparation.
Goalkeepers: Rostyslav Baglai («Shakhtar» Donetsk), Kyrylo Khadashevych («VfL Wolfsburg», Germany), Fedir Tkachenko («Real Betis», Spain).
Defenders: Yegor Kostyuk, Nikita Kaluzhnyi (both — «Shakhtar» Donetsk), Danylo Ogorodnik («Dynamo» Kyiv), Arsen Zalypka («Ruh» Lviv), Artur Muradyan («Borussia Mönchengladbach», Germany), Mykita Melnyk («Napoli», Italy), Stanislav Tolstolis («Nacional», Portugal).
