The Ukrainian WU-15 women's team participated in a pre-season tournament in Ternopil, during which they played two friendlies against DUSSH-1 (Khmelnytskyi) and "Nadbugyi" (Busk), winning both convincingly (9:1 and 3:0 respectively).

Head coach of the Ukrainian women's team Nataliya Ignatovich commented on the official website of the UAF about her impressions from the May training camp:

— In November, we will participate in the UEFA Women's Development Tournament in Finland, where, besides the hosts, our opponents will be Estonian and Slovak teams. The training camp in Ternopil marked the beginning of our preparation for these prestigious tournaments. It is pleasing that all players who were noted by the coaching staff at national tournaments have arrived in Ternopil. Everything we planned to do has been accomplished. I am very satisfied with my wards, who demonstrated diligence and a desire to progress.

It's important to note that there were no injuries. We have identified the core of the team, which consists of 14-15 players. The selection process continues, and I hope we will be able to expand our list of potential candidates to intensify competition for a place in the starting lineup.

Next time, we will gather again for a short training camp already in November, immediately before leaving for Finland.
